Managing Director
With over 15 years of experience in precision engineering, Kelly Scholtz leads SPP Precision Engineering, bringing a strong blend of technical and business acumen to the team. He holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town, making him a leader with both industry insight and strategic expertise.
Kelly is passionate about the dynamic challenges in manufacturing, finding new opportunities every day to push the limits of precision and quality. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and outdoors, with a love for sports. His favorite song is John Legend’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and he’s an avid fan of the film Justified. For Kelly, SPP is a place where innovation meets expertise, a combination he values deeply in his role.
Henzil Zimri
Production Manager
Henzil Zimri brings 12 years of experience and a deep dedication to excellence at SPP Precision Engineering. With a background in Management and IT (+A), Henzil’s expertise ensures smooth, efficient production processes, all while upholding the high standards clients expect from SPP.
Henzil values the close-knit, family-like environment at SPP, saying, “At Precision Engineering, we’re a family, and our work is our passion.” Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, unwinding with Teddy Swims’ Bad Dreams, and diving into thrilling episodes of Money Heist. Yonela Mlanjeni
CNC Operator
Yonela Mlanjeni is a skilled CNC Operator at SPP Precision Engineering, where she’s honed her craft under the mentorship of Managing Director Kelly Scholtz. Over the past year, Yonela has quickly built her expertise in precision machining, thriving in a role that offers continuous learning and growth.

With 13 years of experience in the industry, Shaun Jantjies is a highly skilled CNC Operator at SPP Precision Engineering. Known for his dedication to precision and problem-solving, Shaun finds joy in tackling daily challenges that come with the role.
Shaun describes his experience at SPP as a privilege, noting, “The wonderful management, great team, and constant problem-solving make every day enjoyable.” In his spare time, Shaun enjoys exercising, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
